Designer's notes
If you are lucky enough to have a month at your disposal then you really should spend it in Peru.
You must see the iconic sites of the Incan heartlands around Cusco and Machu Picchu, and the extraordinary Lake Titicaca, but a little extra time allows you to go beyond these-into the Amazon, up to the kingdoms of the northern coast, down to the Nazca lines-and to spend a little longer in each place.
Time that will be richly rewarded.
