Panama City

Transfer to the airport for your international flight home, or extend your trip to experience the birds of Burbayar.

The climate here varies from 24°C on a sunny day to 7°C  in the chilliest winter night (the cold nights means biting insects are virtually absent). Days 12 - 13

Radisson Panama Canal

Panama City

Formerly the Country Inn & Suites Amador, now Radisson, this is a decent functional US style hotel with 254 rooms and suites. The blandness of the hotel is saved by its wonderful location situated on the waterfront with a view of the Pacific Ocean entrance of the Panama Canal and of the Bridge of the Americas.

Each room and suite has a balcony with garden or canal views, A/C, private bathroom, coffee/tea making facilities, minibar.

Hotel facilities include a fitness room, tennis court, outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, 'Bridge View' restaurant serving a breakfast buffet between 6-10.30am and lunch between 12-3pm, 'Cafe 1914' by reception open 24/7, lobby bar serving drinks and snacks and bar meals. There is also a TGI Fridays restaurant in the grounds of the hotel. For other restaurant options we would recommend taking a short taxi ride to the Casco Viejo or far end of the Amador Causeway.

The hotel is 15 miles from the international airport, which is on the other side of the city, but is handy for Albrook airport (domestic flights), the Canal itself, and for Casco Viejo - the historic quarter.
