We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived in Havana. Our guides and driver could not do enough for us, knew exactly what we wanted as they bothered to listen and get to know us.

We had a highly enjoyable trip.

People were friendly and cheerful, inefficency in hotels/restaurants was very frustrating. Paladars were much better. Would also recommend casa particulares rather than hotels.

Our choice of Birds and Culture as a tailor-made tour exceeded our expectations and proved to be an excellent combination, enabling us to enjoy much of what Cuba has to offer. It would be difficult to improve on the balanced programme our itinerary provided. This ensured that all 4 of us, with our varying interests, found every day to be full of interest and many surprises. The birding proved to be very successful, with 128 species seen on this trip, including 19 of the 22 endemics. There is no doubt that Geodyssey's knowledge of Cuba was a key factor in ensuring that we would learn so much about the island and have such great fun in doing so.

We saw some interesting sights, beautiful scenery, listened to many Cuban musicians, met many lovely people throughout the island.

Would have preferred to have had hotel in the old town.

Overall, we did enjoy the holiday - Cuba is a fascinating country and we were pleased we were able to experience it before it changes dramatically.
