Guided Nature Walks
Guided walks and hikes are scheduled each day on the various islands during the cruise. Each walk involves an easy or moderate walk or bike, which can last between 1 to 3 hours. They are not considered strenuous.
Snorkling
You will have the opportunity to go snorkeling almost every day. The boat will provide snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel & fins) free of charge. Wetsuits are also additional cost at no additional cost. Guests can chose to either snorkel from the beach or in deeper water, depending on experiene and confidence.
Kayaking
According to National Park regulations, kayaking is only permitted at certain sites. Ecoventura provides two double and one single "sit on top" kayaks for guests to enjoy while on their Galapagos cruise. "Sit on top" kayaks, as the name suggests, involve sitting on top of the kayak in an open area. Thakns to the islands' calm waters, guests of all ages and levels of fitness can take part in this activitiy.
Zodiac Rides
Dinghies, or "Pangas" as they are known in Galapagos, are inflatable zodiacs that serve as the main transportation method from the yachts to the visitor sites. The dinghy trips will take you ashore for each island excursion and also take you to mangrove esturaries, coves and caves allowing you to see even more of the wildlife.
